Liberal Hypocrisy Files: Obama’s Mad Tea Party April 30, 2009

Filed under: Liberal Hypocrisy — afrocity @ 9:24 PM

I wanted to share this very revealing clip of President Obama from last night’s O’Reilly Factor. Comedienne Dennis Miller weighs in on Obama’s attitude towards anyone who disagrees with him. As far back as the 2008 Democratic primary, I have always held a strong suspicion that Barack Obama is not a sincere advocate of free speech unless it serves to advance his agenda. The lack of respect he displays towards the tea party anti-tax protesters in this clip is ridiculously unprofessional and whiny. What happened to the political messiah? Where is the hopenchange prophet of common good and wealth for the people? Where is the Prince of Elegance? I thought Obama was the people’s president. He sure doesn’t look like it here.

If Obama was anything like he has claimed he would have acknowledged the tea parties and at least said “I hear you” and put a positive spin on it… So much for bringing people together..

  2. That is one of the most unprofessional, unpresidential things I’ve ever seen. What a thin skinned, pompous, jerk!! That really gets my temperature up

  3. Janis Says:

Gee what happened to his reaching across the aisle and “red state blue state” rhetoric?

BTW, thank you from the bottom of my cold little heart for spelling hypocrisy right. Now, can we do something about definate and loose?

Why is it that conservatives can see this attitude in him and always could from the beginning but liberals cannot see it? Or do they just refuse to see it? It is just like the time he shot the middle finger (not on purpose, just pure coincidence, geez, you crazy rightwinger, right?) at Hillary Clinton and John McCain during the campaign.

    • Valorie – some liberals noted it. The Confluence and other PUMA blogs were all abuzz during the primaries and afterward

I think there is a whole lot of them who notice it now but are too embarrassed to admit they fell for the dog and pony show of the campaign. When these folks get over their embarrassment of being fooled, watch out they will be hell on wheels.

      • Valorie Says:

Well, good, that actually makes me feel better. It is very difficult to admit that you were duped.

Funny, I didn’t realize that the tea parties were about health care. Don’t you love the way he just completely ignores the true reason for the parties and makes it about what he wants to talk about? The man is slicker than a seal following the Exxon Valdez. And, of course, the MSM will not ever call him on it. In fact they will attack Fox for even bringing it up.

But, really, are any of us surprised? This is typical leftist playbook… Say one thing, do something different. Say you want to have a conversation with the opposition, and then plug your ears and say “NANANANANANANA” when someone actually tries to disagree with you. As I said the other day, our country is being run by a bunch of third graders.

    • Valorie Says:

I caught that too and was like, whaaaaat??? Who is protesting healthcare??? Does he even have a clue what we were doing at our tea parties?

Of course, give us some time and we may have to protest his healthcare proposals.
